I am running the London Marathon on 26th April 2009 in aid of Jo's Trust. This charity is close to my heart having known someone dealing with cervical cancer last year. Fortunately for her the diagnosis and treatment was made early enough increasing her chances of a full recovery. It is just over 6 months since then and she has now been given the all clear. By doing the London Marathon, I am trying to raise awareness and hopefully some money so that Jo's Trust can continue to help women with cervical cancer in the future.
