Story
On my blog http://myuniqueworld.com/ I wrote what I did for the past three weeks where I have been volunteering at Msamaria Street Children’s Centre in Moshi on the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania. To raise money for the street children of Tanzania I held cake sales and raised £109, I also collected donated clothes from family and friends that I took for the children
I am 12 years old, Nicole Neshiri from Maidstone, Kent. I visited Tanzania for the first time and was touched by what I saw. I would encourage everyone to get involved and to help. The children have so little. Anything you do will help them, they will appreciate it.
It has been a rewarding experience that has made me want to do more to help. As I flew back home water supplies had been cut at the Msamaria Children’s Centre due to an unpaid bill of under £100 with some children being out of school too as they don’t have any sponsors to pay their fees. I would encourage everyone to get involved and to help Tanzania’s forgotten children. Anything you do will help them. They have so little. They will appreciate it!
