Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to attempt to climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for charity: Book Aid International: The Booksellers Association of the UK and Ireland, is kindly supporting me and allowing me to leave them for 2 weeks to tackle this small hike, and raise as much money for Book Aid as I possibly can.

I would be very grateful for anything you can donate. If you were going to buy me that porsche for my birthday or Christmas then stop right now, and make that donation to Book Aid instead. And if it's simply to have a laugh at my expense (if Chris Moyles can do it, there's a glimmer of hope) then contributions welcome.

Any sum will be gratefully received, and will go directly to Book Aid, providing resources for people and communities, some of whom may not otherwise see, let alone read, a book:

Just £10 could send 5 books to a community library in Ethiopia

£24 could provide 12 health books for women, worth nearly £150

£60 could send up to 30 books for a refugee camp in Kenya

And £380 would provide a starter collection for an entire school library.

"These orphans now have access to and read classical children book prints thanks to the books we receive from Book Aid International. I am sure without these books; many of these children will not see or read a book in their childhood.”

Jeanne Atsam, Dan and Sarah Orphanage, Soa
