Thanks for visiting this page to find out why I will be getting up terribly early on Sunday 12th July to run 10K in the centre of London. Well, ok...maybe run and walk 10K.
I have taken on this challenge for Project Harar. This charity does amazing work in Ethiopia helping children with severe facial disfigurements get the dental and reconstructive surgery they need. The children come from some of the most isolated areas of eastern Africa, can't afford to travel the long distances and often live 'hidden' existences, shunned by their families and communities. Project Harar helps the children reach modern hospitals and arranges for specialists to carry out the operations, giving the children the chance of a healthier and happier life.
