Hello Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

Most of you probably know that last March my mum, Sue, sadly passed away after a year long battle with lung cancer. Shortly after Ben said that we should run the 2010 marathon in memory of my mum as well as raising money for charity. The thought of running 2 miles let alone 26 miles was a daunting one for me! But I liked the idea of a challenge. So in October we registered and gained two places to run for the Westcliff-based charity Havens Hospices. It is a charity close to my heart as mum stayed there for two weeks last year and I really can’t say enough good things about it!! The nurses are amazing and not only did they look after mum so well but me and the rest of my family, too.
