Hello All,
Just to let you know that team Mad Max (no. 659) completed the Bananman Triathlon (800m swim, 30km bike and 7.5km run) in a very respectable 1 hr and 59 minutes on Sunday. Claire's swim was outstanding-she was the 3rd woman out of the water and Ruth was incredibly speedy on the bike, heading off many a male challenger along the way! We came 55th out of 110 teams (many of whom were all-male).
(I also completed the Nokia Windsor Triathlon (750m swim, 30km bike and 5.5 km run) on Sunday June 14th in 2 hrs 8 minutes).
Sooo, thanks so much for your donations if you have already made one and if you havn't already this is your last chance! It would be great to meet our target of £1000 and we are so very close.....
