Hey everyone,

Welcome to my fundraising page.  I will be doing a bike ride in China next September for Macmillan Cancer Support.  Macmillan has set me a fundraising target of £3, 200! It sounds like a hefty amount, so that's why I need your help (and your pennies) to help achieve this goal.

Let me tell you a bit about my cycling challenge!  It will begin on the 17th of September 2008 and I will be cycling 680km over 7 days. (The whole trip will start on the 17th and end on the 28th but will only be cycling for 7 days)

 I start of in Yulin ( a large town lying south of the Gobi desert and Inner Mongolia), from there I travel through countryside and along a section of the Great Wall of China, finishing up in Xian, home to the renowned Teracotta Warriors!

This will definitely be a challenge for me, as although I have been known in my youth to enjoy the casual bike ride around the car park, I'm not quite sure that has been adequate training!
