What?

The RAAM is World's Toughest Bicycle Race!! It is 30% longer than the Tour de France and racers finish in half the time. The route is over 3000 miles, touching 14 states and climbing over 100,000 feet. It takes between 6 to 9 days, averaging 350 to over 500 miles per day.

Why?

In January 2008 I (Natalie) was diagnosed with having a low grade brain tumour. The doctors were able to remove 70% of the tumour which had grown to 3x4Inches, but I am left with the remaining 30% which is like a ticking time bomb in my head, no one can say how it will grow or how long I will live for. A shocking statistic is that Brain Tumours now account for more deaths amoung children and those under 40 than any other cancer so more funding is desperately needed to aid research and find treatments.
