You may recall way back in 2005 I ran the Great North Run to raise £600 for Saint Joseph's Hospice (Jospice) in memory of my Gran. Since then, lots has happened, inlcuding my Nan dying of cancer. I've been ridiculously unhealthy since then but I'm changing that to hopefully raise £750 for Jospice. I'm walking a lot these days, have quit smoking and am on a diet- aiming to lose 5 stone. I'm signed up for the Great North Run again, so hopefully will be in shape by then- and have also got my name down for the 2009 London Marathon (not got my place yet- but I'm hoping). So please please please sponsor me- preferably through this site. I've quit smoking, have started walking 30 miles a week, as well as the occassional run, I'll be doing the Great North Run and shifting 5 stone- so please give what you can, seriously, every penny counts. I'm doing this primarily in memory of my Nan and Gran. This charity is a really worthy cause that needs your money. Oh, and if you notice I've reached my target, then don't let that stop you donating!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Joseph's Hospice Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
