Wow what an experience!

On Sunday 25th April the Ayliffe brothers succesfully completed the 26.2 miles of the 30th London Marathon in the green colours of NSPCC TeamGO.

It was a fantastic day and the crowds around the course were unbelievable, they certainly helped us when the going got tough!

We each originally set a fundraising target of £2,000 and thanks to some superb support from our family and friends we have smashed through this. The result is that we have covered the cost of all the freephone calls to four ChildLine counsellors for four and a half years, meaning children can contact the service in the confidence that their call will not show on the phone bill, allowing them to be as honest as necessary.

We'd like to thank everyone for your fantastic support, especially our family.

Neil and Jim

Finishing times: Neil - 03:31:18 and Jim - 04:06:12.....not bad for first timers!!
