In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I've finally bitten the bullet and decided to run the London Marathon. Years of hearing how my father-in-law has done it 3.05 (don't worry Pete your PB's safe) have finally worn me down. As Pete is my inspiration to run over 26 miles it is only right that I raise money for him. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

NB - Benefits to higher-rate taxpayers

If you pay tax at the higher rate, you can reclaim tax relief on your gross donation at 18% (eg the difference between the higher rate of tax at 40% and the basic rate at 22%).
