Alrighty, this is a last minute attempt to garner some much needed marathon sponsorship.  Here's the official blurb...

To be blunt, I'm running for this charity because they had a place, but all for a good cause no doubt!

Training has been...ahem...limited.  After not running for 7 months, I started training 7 weeks ago and the race is in a week - Sunday 13th April!  I have managed 6 or so half marathons in training, up to 17.5 miles, but picked up a knee injury a couple of weeks ago which has hampered this last bit of training - I'll make the race regardless though, but maybe a bit slower...which plays into your hands!

So to spice this up, I want to add a bit of spreadbetting to the equation:
- if I run 4h30 or under, you make your donation (eg £26 - 1 per mile)
- if I run between 4h 31 and 4h 45 - no money changes hands (I'll reimburse you your 'donation' if this site takes it automatically)
- if I run over 4h 45 - I'll pay you your 'donation' - eg you make £26 from me!

Okay - if you're a BAD person and want to take advantage of the above bet, put GAMBLE into your comments when you make the donation - I'll be able to see this.
If you're actually a decent human being, and don't want me to lose money hand over fist, then just make a normal donation.
