About our charity : Charitable Trusts For The United Bristol Hospitals Charitable Trusts For The United Bristol Hospitals
The Above & Beyond Appeal is the fundraising arm of the Charitable Trusts for the United Bristol Hospitals. Our charity exists to support the hospitals within the United Bristol Healthcare NHS Trust, which in turn, provide a number of regional specialities benefiting the whole of the South West. Over the past 30 years we have been able to distribute over £50million to enhance the lives of patients and staff and to fund ground-breaking research in all major specialities both for children and for adults. Our continuing success is dependent on your support so please help to make our Hospitals even better!

We are doing a 125 mile ride, over 5 mountain passes (12,000 feet of climbing) on one day in July! This is an amateur ride on the toughest mountain stage of this year's Tour de France.

The money raised is on behalf of the Nephrotic Syndrome Trust  - NeST - a registered charity set up to raise money for research into Nephrotic Syndrome, a devastating kidney disease of children (see www.nstrust.co.uk)

This research is carried out by myself and a world class team of researchers in Bristol, and the money raised is invaluable in helping us to find a cure.

For administrative purposes, the money will go into an account held by United Bristol Hospitals, specifically for NeST.

Charitable Trusts For The United Bristol Hospitals will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
