Kemsour, Kerry and staff of New Hope Community Centre, sincerely thank everyone who has donated and supported our cause….. ‘to restore hope and dignity to the very poor and desperate peoples of Mondul 3 Village’.
As well as providing free education, New Hope have been working tirelessly with families in the community to restore basic living standards, reroofing homes, installing water pumps and providing mosquito nets, mats and blankets for the winter.
Our Medical Practitioner has been treating and medicating approximately 200 patients per week. Hope of a brighter future is starting to permeate throughout the community, some have planted small vegetable patches, some are requesting monies for micro-businesses, while others are merely celebrating the fact they have rice to eat.
Children have been attending school for the first time in their lives, teens and adults are learning a trade instead of working on the street, homeless expectant mothers and children have food and shelter, and babies who have malnourished mums and no breast milk have nutritious milk formulas,
Yet our work has just begun, for the needs here are great…….…but we have taken the first steps, and with your continued help and support, we will continue to educate, grow and prosper this deserved community.
