Our 13 month old son has recently been diagnosed with a condition which has meant that he has had to be hospitailised on three occasions in the last month and has sustained very severe injuries.Because of the injuries he has sustained ,Alfies consultant peadiatrician recommended that he had a special needs cot to protect him from injury at night.The cost of the cot was approximately 1200 pounds and a local charity that we contacted so very kindly funded this for us.Overwhelmed by their generosity i felt it necessary to try to raise some money to donate back to the charity for them to continue to help other children like they have helped our baby son.That is my reason for taking part in the Birmingham half marathon in october.Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
