We (Greg Miles, Neil Cromarty, and Nick Chapman) completed our ride on the 21st July when we arrived at Portland Bill. We started our ride 13 days earlier when we left Neil's family house in Orkney, just outside Kirkwall. 961 miles further on we finally made it up the last hill we had to tackle, out of Fortuneswell on the Isle of Portland. It was a fabulous trip, although not all free-wheeling down hill as you can imagine.

We had some great help from cycle mechanics in Kirkwall, Thurso, Perth, Barnard Castle, Skipton, Sherborne, and Yeovil. What a great bunch! Also thanks to long-suffering families who supported and put up with us taking so much time out to train and for support along the way. They now have to put up with us talking about it!
