Fun in Action is a befriending scheme for disadvantaged children from lone parent families who need extra attention and support to improve their well being and their long term life chances. Each troubled child is matched with a carefully vetted volunteer who spends quality time with them over a period of two years or more.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. For those who don't know I've been running swimming and cycling over the past few months in training for East Grinstead Triathlon It's a 500m swim, 30k cycle and a 5k run, my target time is two hours. It's definately going to be a tough course but I promise to finish!

It's a bit last minute but I've had a few offers of sponsorship so I thought I may as well make use of it. With that in mind I've chosen a smaller local charity.
