**Due to an injury sustained by Nick to his left knee, this venture was unfortunately cut short after nearly 400 miles, covered in 5 days. However, we are looking to complete the trip next year, when Nick's knee has recovered. Thank you all for your donations and words of kindness and encouragement, they really have made the world of difference.**

In early August, Alex and Nick are going foolishly where plenty of people have gone before, admittedly with a lot more experience and planning. Never the less, we are embarking on a cycle ride which will take us from Lands End to John O'Groats (known as the End to End ride) in an attempt to raise money for Kibera in Need, a charity which is explained best on their website (please visit and explore) as 'Kibera In Need provides a lifeline for children and adults living in the Kibera slum. Through a Guardianship Scheme, children are enabled to have an education, regular vaccinations and hot meals. A Business Support Scheme gives adult residents the chance to setup small businesses and be economically independent.'  So we would really appreciate your support and sponsorship as we embark on this crazy venture, and in the build up as we prepare ourselves. We anticipate it taking between 12-15 days, a route of more than 900 miles. Please give generously, as this will not only benefit the people living in Kibera but also inspire us through any difficulties we may encounter (and knowing our track record for schemes such as this, there may well be.) It would be really appreciated if you could spread the word to anyone you know who might consider sponsoring us and direct them to our justgiving page. In anticipation of your words of kindness and sponsorship, we give you our eternal thanks. Love Alex and Nick
