Raising money for Bone Cancer Research Trust

Primary bone cancer occurs most commonly in children, teenagers and young adults. The Bone Cancer Research Trust is devoted to promoting and funding research into the causes and treatment of PBC, particularly osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma, and to improving outcomes for patients; and providing information and support for patients and families.

Nick died of bone cancer on 16th April 2009. Nick worked with the Bone Cancer Research Trust to raise awareness of bone cancer. In 2008, Nick arranged an Early Day Motion in the Houses of Parliament as part of the first Bone Cancer Awareness Week. Nick played a major role in helping the Trust to reach a landmark total of over £1million in donations which will go towards research and supporting patients & their families.
