This year I'm part of the squad for the 8th Robert Eaton Memorial Match, which takes place on Friday 8th May. Proceeds from this match will be donated to The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund, and each players is trying to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.
Robert Eaton, an avid Brighton and Hove Albion Fan, was one of the 67 Britons killed in the shocking terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11 2001.
The Robert Eaton Memorial Fund supports children’s football, particularly youngsters aged between 5-16 who may not otherwise be given the opportunity or resources to play.
So far the fund has given pleasure to hundreds of children from New York, Africa, Brighton and even Croydon. These children would not have had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful game without support from the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund.
Get yourself down to The Dripping Pan at Lewes for a 19.30 kick off on Friday 8th May to see the BHAFC supporters take on the Crystal Palace supporters!
