Epilepsy can affect anyone. 1 in 30 people in the UK develop epilepsy during their life. For some, it can be controlled, for others it is a reliance on a drug. The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (www.ncype.org.uk) helps by providing those who are seriously affected with complex medical treatment and research, rehabilitation, family support and a specialist education.
