On 31st May 2009, I will be running the Edinburgh marathon in aid of Cancer Care Cymru. This will be my first marathon (and probably my last!) and, whilst I'm sure that people have donated to many charities recently with friends and family running the London marathon, I'd really appreciate your donations, whatever size.

Cancer Care Cymru is a unique cancer charity which has been developed specifically to provide information, support and care for people in Wales affected by cancer.  The charity's main aim is to fund specialist nurses to work alongside NHS staff in Welsh hospitals.  In particular to work alongside consultants in out patient clinics when patients are first told they have cancer and need support throughout diagnosis and treatment.
