Nigel ran the London marathon 10 years ago, but it is Sue's first attempt at running 26.2 miles! It is certainly challenging. Training is going well so far and we know we have often been spotted jogging around Guernsey!
We are delighted to confirm that thanks to some very helpful intervention from Stephen Jones our Cheshire Home Chairman ALL THE MONEY WE RAISE BY RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON WILL BE TO SUPPORT OUR GUERNSEY HOME. Our Cheshire Home is entirely self supporting, unlike Cheshire Homes in the UK, so every pound counts. We are also very grateful for the assistance of Leonard Cheshire Disability who offer invaluable support and advice for all their fundraisers.
