Hi...

My name is Nigel and i'm Rob's uncle...

In March 2007 when Rob was only 14 he was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, by September 2007 this cancer had killed him...

The cancer is called Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour (DSRCT) and is so rare that very little is known about it.

So after talking to Doctors at John Radcliffe Hospital where Rob was being treated, he decided to set up a research fellowship, if not to help him then to help others suffering from this type of cancer.

He needed to raise £100,000 to fund the 3 year project...

So... Rob, his parents, family, school and friends set about fundraising. We have raised £58,000 so far... You can see how we're doing on www.robsarttt.piczo.com

I've decided to put myself through the mild discomfort (compared to what Rob went through) of the doing the London Marathon on 13 April 08.
