Well we're into March now, and there's only 7 weeks to go. As many of you may know, I have a fair few injury problems, mostly with my right knee, but a combination of physio, massaging and stretching seems to have cured (touchwood) the problem, and training has been well back on track for the past few weeks. Speaking to people who've done it before, injuries and niggles are par for the course, you just have to deal with them as best you can.
I managed my longest run yet last sunday (17 miles in 2 and a quarter hours), which went well, and I'm on course to do the big one in my target time of 4 hours. I'll build up to about 20 miles over the next few weekends, have got a half marathon race lined up for 1 April in Bushy Park, then I'll start to wind down in preparation for the big day...
I'll send out another e-mail reminder for people soon, and also give everyone details of where they might want to come and watch from, meet afterwards etc on the big day.
