CURVES JUMP 15,000FT FOR APE ACTION AFRICA

CURVES staff (Nikkie, Sharon and Bev), members (Carly Baines, Kirsty Drew and Lisa Winter) along with Mike and James Herbert have decided to help raise money for Ape Action Africa by doing a 15,000ft skydive in October 2011.

Ape Action Africa is a UK registered charity that works on the front-lines of great ape protection. Their goals are to address the immediate threats faced by gorillas and chimpanzees in Cameroon, and to work with local communities to develop long-term solutions that protect them well into the future - ensuring their survival.

They rescue orphaned and injured gorillas and chimpanzees - some only days old and hours from death - from poachers and bush meat traders.

Ape Action Africa needs our help so that they can continue to give these orphaned animals a safe, caring environment where they can enjoy their lives with each other.

They have over 250 primates in their care and they need food, shelter and medicines. it's full time and full on.

We would like to raise £7000.00. It costs about £600.00 a year to care for each animal......and there are more arriving on their doorstep each week.

So please help us to help Ape Action Africa by sponsoring us. Thank you for your support from

Ape Action Africa (formerly Cameroon Wildlife Aid Fund) rescues gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys that have been orphaned, largely as a result of the illegal bushmeat trade in Cameroon.
