On Thursday 7th July 2005, over 50 people died in the worst terrorist attack ever to happen in London. As well as the dead, there are horrific injuries and people who will be mentally scarred and unable to travel on London's historic transport system (tube and buses) ever again.
The tube means a lot to us. We travel on it a lot. The 'tube challenge' community is as annoyed about this as the rest of the world, and we would like to say : "We Are Not Afraid", as well.
So, during the last week in August (date to be announced on the day) a number of us will be travelling to every tube station that is open in an effort to raise money for the official Relief Fund for families of the victims of the bombings.
Please consider giving us a small donation. (Or a large one!)
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
London Bombings Relief Charitable Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
