East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) has three children's hospice care services based at Milton in Cambridge, Ipswich and Quidenham in Norfolk. EACH is a registered charity which relies on public support for around 75% of its required income of approximately £5.5 million a year. EACH help local life-threatened children and their families with the emotional and physical challenges they face by providing expert care and a range of other essential support in a home-from-home environment or in the comfort of their own home.

Our personal message:

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Why this charity? We would like to help families and kids who must be experiencing some really difficult times. This is the least we can do.

The Team: Gary (Dad - oldish), Ben (Son - 16), Tom (Son - 13).

The plan. 170 miles in 3 days.
Day 1 Forncett to Castle Acre via Diss, Knettishall Heath and the Peddars Way. Overnight at Castle Acre.
Day 2 Castle Acre to North Norfolk coast on Peddars Way. Along Coast and overnight at Thorpe Market (and a gala night of entertainment c/o Baz).
Day 3 Thorpe Market via Yarmouth and the Waveney Valley home to Forncett.

Why a bike ride? Mount Everest was fully booked, so our second choice was "round Norfolk by bike" (and seemed an appropriate way to raise money for an East Anglian charity). It is also a bit flatter and we know the natives are friendly.

Our helpers:  Thanks to Margaret, Debbie and The Feathers Public House in Wymondham for helping us to find sponsors. Thanks also to Su Leavesly for promoting us in the Forncett Flyer, to Baz for hospitality and Howards Cycles in Wymondham for kit and a generous donation. Most of all, thanks to everyone sponsoring us. Now its up to us to supply the pedal power!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: East Anglia's Children's Hospices gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

We would appreciate if you could help EACH with whatever you can afford.
