We help blind veterans to discover a life beyond sight loss
Story
I became severely sight impaired in November 2007 and had to give up my ballooning business. St Dunstan's has helped me considerably to adjust to this sudden change in my life.
At the beginning of April 2010 I will be trekking the last degree to the geographic North Pole in a small group led by David Hempleman-Adams. I will be pulling a sledge with my food, clothing, tent and survival kit for about 60 miles over rugged and difficult terrain in extreme conditions. As the Arctic is a mass of ice drifting on the sea, the trek may be considerably longer. My website www.northpole2010.org has more info and lots of pictures.
On 25th April I will be running in the Virgin London Marathon. I am attempting these tough challenges to raise funds for St Dunstan's. Please will you sponsor me by making a donation through this page which is totally secure.
If you're a UK taxpayer, 25% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation.
