Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page where I am trying to raise money for the British Red Cross Haiti appeal. I have the full support and agreement from Ipswich Town FC - Camilla Haycock Community Manager. I am also a Red Cross volunteer number: 030026119.
VOTING CLOSES AT 17:15 - 26/01/10. Donations still gladly received.
I am ready, willing and able to ridicule myself, by putting my faith in the hands of Ipswich Town fans & I am sure a few Norwich City Fans. Most people raising funds for the Red Cross choose to Climb Everest, Swim with Sharks, sit in a bath of beans or dress as a clown for the day.........This is going to be far more daring and embarrassing..........
Should I wear a Norwich City or Ipswich Shirt, on the pitch at Portman Road, during the half-time interval at the West Bromwich Albion game on Tuesday 26th January 2010? You decide.......Please don't make me wear the yellow one........THE NUMBER OF VOTES FOR EACH SHIRT WILL DECIDE.......**See below.
Will the passion and generosity of the Tractor Boy Fans allow this on their hallowed turf? Will the Canaries vote just to see me suffer! Please help.........
Will I ever be able show my face again?
As 1981 was a great year for Ipswich Town FC, I have set this target of £1981 in memory of Sir Bobby!
You decide by voting once you have made a donation on this page by simply leaving a message.
The result will be revealed at half time during the West Bromwich Albion game...........
This is meant to be a light-hearted fund raising event for a very serious crisis. The aim is not to ridicule Norwich City Football Club in anyway....honest... and I have contacted them for their endorsement. It is not meant to offend anyone especially Ipswich Town fans.
There are only a few resaons why this shouldn't be done, but 50,000 reasons so far why it should be done?
Please spread the word...........
All money donated through this secure site go direct to The British Red Cross.
A Media Campaign is set to be launched on Monday 18th January to raise awareness.
Suffolk Police have been notified and see that this light-hearted fund raising event, fits with the Community club that is; Ipswich Town Football Club.
It is not intended to promote hatred in anyway, and was just the most embarrassing thing I could think of, that a person from Ipswich could willingly undertake.....
**As I am trying to encourage as many people to vote and donate, the result will be decided by the number of votes for each shirt. All donations, no matter how big or small count. Many thanks. I am by know means a hardcore Ipswich fan and thank the avid supporters of my local team for their support.
