Dawud runs for Gaza!
On Saturday 23rd May 2009 My Son age 2yrs and 10 months ran the Gaza 100 metre world record run. It was totally unplanned! as we were there to cheer on others! We discovered that there were still places for new runners so I decided to sign us up.
When we got to the start line I was told that dawud and I cant run together :(
Dawud was really looking forward to it so I told him "Dawud get ready your going to run this on your own! wait for the other runner to come this way and take the batton off her!" he understood me completely and waited patiently MashaAllah!
He completed the run, running all the way with a beautiful smile, a smile that is rarely seen on the faces of other children in poverty stricken countries. So on behalf of dawud Please donate generously! this is for the suffering people of Gaza!
May Allah accept this noble deed of my son and make him a striver to do good in the future Ameen.
