It aims to preserve the house, contents and personal possesssions which belonged to William Morris, Lord Nuffield,car manufacturer and philanthropist, and his wife, Lady Nuffield and to allow public access to them. Now that the house is threatened with sale on the open market from October 2008 it intends to raise the money necessary to save the house and contents for the nation.
