Why your donation matters

Researching the causes of cancer isn't glamorous work, it's known as basic research but there's nothing basic about it, it concerns the very first level of research in the Cancer Research Process. So without the research we fund some of the larger breakthroughs might never happen.

There are many different charities that fund research into cancer, why should you donate your money to us? We only fund the highest standard of research into the causes of cancer and why it spreads. And of the money that you donate we work hard to keep our overheads to a minimum so an average of almost 90p per £1 goes directly into research. We receive no government funding so the majority of our funds are generated by our network amazing volunteers and fantastic people like you.
