This year the OBH community will be raising money for two charities, Sport Relief and Help for Heroes.

All the children from Pre- Prep and the Prep School are taking part, in this fun and exciting sponsored event. The course will be the same as the Sports Relief Mile and will take place on Friday 21 March.

Steve Schollar who is the General Manager at Help for Heroes, Chavasse VC House Recovery Centre in Colchester, is hoping to come and talk to the children about the fantastic work they are doing for the soldiers and their families.

We will be sending the children home with sponsor forms over the half term period to start collecting sponsors for the run in March. I hope you agree that both these charities are incredibly worthwhile and I am sure that the children will really enjoy helping them. This charity fund raising event will also go towards their OBE (Old Buckenham Explorers) module—Community Service.

The children may dress up in fancy if they wish (the school will not be providing that!) and I am sure that the staff will also get involved. If you would like to run the sport relief mile your selves we would be delighted to have you take part.
