We are delighted to present the Olaer Charity Cycle Challenge (3C) 2012! This long weekend challenge links two great European cities, London and Paris, covering aroundapprox 300 miles/ 482 km in just 4 days (starting at Wednesday 20th June, arriving at Saturday the 23rd June, leaving from Paris at Sunday 24th June 2012).
Our objective is to raise at least £100.000 for our chosen charity, Médecins Sans Frontières.
Médecins Sans Frontières's core work is providing medical aid in crisis situations – armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. All these situations call for a rapid response with specialised medical and logistical help. Every year, MSF sends around 3,000 doctors, nurses, logisticians, water-and-sanitation experts, administrators and other professionals to work alongside approximately 25,000 locally hired staff. Together they run medical projects in more than 60 countries around the world. Wherever the MSF-teams are working their goal is the same: to provide essential medical humanitarian aid to those who need it most, regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
So please dig deep and donate now.
