Headway Bristol provides information, support and advice for people with brain injuries, their families and carers. A daytime resource and activity centre provides an environment where people can learn new skills and gain confidence and coping strategies to deal with everyday situations that most people take for granted.

My story

Hello!

As you most likely know if you've found your way onto this page I am cycling from Land's End to John O'groats in the not to distant future.

Im expecting the trip, which is just under 1000 miles, to take 10 to 12 days and im also expecting to see some pretty nice views and other such scenic things. Given this, I will be making a "picture diary" along the way so you can see the highs and lows/twists and turns and some things that are great in Great Britain.

In case you didn't know Alex and are wondering who he was... Alex was one of my flatmates and a close friend. He died on march 26 after falling from a roof and developing a serious head injury.

He was a great guy with many many virtues and it will be great if we could raise even more to help families and individuals who have and will endure similar tragedies.
