Now then, i am setting myself to challenge to complete the Manchester 10K (18th May) and the Great North Run (5th October) next year. Let be honest, im the wrong size, shape and probably have the wrong lifestyle to have any hope of succeeding. One person once said that, when i run, i look like an upright lizard being given electroshock treatment!

However what i do have is the motivation.

This year my Nonny and Grandad both passed away, both keen fundraisers for the Bolton Lads and Girls Club, and so, through no willingness of my own, the baton has been passed!

This feat is one that scares me, and the reason for me setting up my fundraising page so early is that for me the training starts now. No more waking up in the late afternoon, watching Jeremy Kyle and polishing off last night kebab! Im on it 100% and i hope the money you give to support me can reflect what i am giving up to complete this task.
