thanks for visiting our page and sponsoring us to do the Great Notts Bike Ride. We have got eight riders from One Nottingham to do the 18 miles from Holme Pierrepont through Radcliffe on trent, Gunthorpe, Burton Joyce, Stoke Bardolph, Colwick and over Lady Bay Bride and back to Holme Piererpont.
We are raising money for a really worthy cause the Danielle Beccan Memorial Trust, the trust was set up in the memory of Danielle who was tragically killed in November 2004 in Nottingham. The trust is raising money to fund a centre for performing arts and personal development for young people in Nottingham. You can find out more about the trust at www.daniellebeccanmemorialtrust.co.uk
We are all mainly novice cyclists and thought long and hard about doing the 50 mile circuit but we came to our senses and are doing the 18 mile course. We have a couple of experienced riders in the team who we will use as pace makers and we will post pictures after the event on the One Nottingham website to prove we did it!! www.onenottingham.org.uk
