My story

Stoke City’s Tony Pulis, Stokie Blokey Comedian Nick Hancock, Steph Pulis, Sports Presenters Mark Chapman & Dan Pallett, Actor Dean Andrews, Designer Jeff Banks & Sports Reporter Martin Spinks will be getting on their bikes this summer to raise cash for The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.

The team will be taking on the gruelling challenge of cycling the length of the UK non-stop in just 4 days.

Tony and Nick will be calling in some favours - pulling together celebrity friends to help them on their epic 960 mile journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End.

You can follow their progress, read their blogs, show your support and get involved right here.

Every penny really does help make every moment count.

We aim to raise £100,000 for the charity.

The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice

The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice Trust provides a range of specialist care and support services for children with a shortened life expectancy and their families. These services are provided to children between the ages of 0 -19 years from Staffordshire and South Cheshire.

The hospice supports children and their families with the challenges that having a life-threatening condition can often bring. Services may be provided in the family home or the hospice or a combination of both depending on the family's and child’s preference.

The Donna Louise Children’s Hospice is a registered charity and relies largely on donations to raise the £2.2 million each year to provide its 24/7 service.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our On Yer Bike Celebrity Team JustGiving page and supporting not only us but also all the children & families at The Donna Louise Children's Hospice.

Charity Registration No. 1075597

The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust provides respite for children with life threatening conditions and support for the whole family at the hospice and in their own home. Our hospice called Treetops, is based in Trentham, on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent. Here we provide respite and end of life care for children from all over Staffordshire and South Cheshire that are between the ages of 0 and 19 years and have a life-threatening illness. We provide a safe, caring environment where children and families can truly feel at home.
A community nursing team provide respite and end of life care to children and families within their own homes.
Currently the Trust cares for 160 children from South Cheshire and Staffordshire. Its annual running costs of £2 million are obtained mainly from public donations.
