Ambulances can be the difference between life and death for many people in Kenya

We are making an urgent appeal for donations to equip and ship an ambulance to send to Kenya to join our fire appliances in assisting in incidences of fire and disaster emergencies.

The good news is that we have been donated an ambulance but money is now needed to equip it with much needed medical, education and fire supplies and for shipping.

The ambulance will be a welcome addition to our fire project which has been in operation since 2007 working in partnership in training several Municipal Councils employees, institutions and companies in fire fighting and first aid skills.

The need for a joint ambulance and fire service facility will enable response times for both training and emergency services to be improved and most importantly it will ensure that both emergency services are actually providing emergency to cover the community.

One can only imagine how many lives would be saved if there was more access to emergency medical attention. Having more emergency response vehicles at hand would benefit many people throughout rural Africa.

Your donation will enable us to have an ambulance at the college to cater for students and assist in our fire, rescue and first aid training.

No donation is too small £1,  £5 or £10 will count towards shipping costs.
