Dambusters Family: Operation Halfway is being carried out by the families of 617 Sqn whilst the squadron is deployed on operations in Afghanistan.
The guys and girls in Afghanistan are in the process of making their way back through gym miles collected, our goal is to meet them halfway and raise money for RAFA while we are doing it!
We only have until the 20th July to reach our target, please help us meet them! We need to log 1823 miles!
Everyone is welcome to join us in "logging" miles, either at the gym, walking/cycling to work/school and DSP events. Try setting yourself a challenge and have people sponsor you.
To log some miles simple follow this link and enter your name and the number of kilometers completed (most running machines are in kms these days).
To help the Family back home raise money, please sponsor a 617 Sqn Family member or friend as they achieve their own mileage target, or simply donate and help us beat the £1,000 fundraising target, set by those in Afghanistan.
