Promoting a positive attitude towards stomas

Help us to achieve our mission to promote the wellbeing of anyone who has had, or may need to have a colostomy, ileostomy or urostomy operation, and to inspire people living with a stoma, enabling them to live their life to its full potential. We provide a free & confidential helpline: 0800 7314264, a range of patient information sheets and lifestyle travel cards, a directory of support groups and product suppliers.

We also carry out various activities within the UK including workshops for local support groups, training sessions for healthcare and support organisations, and an Underwear and Swimwear Show to promote body confidence and a positive image of stoma surgery. Stoma surgery can affect people of any age or background but is still considered a taboo subject.
