My story
I did it! I cycled every mile and every hill. After being a mother this is the biggest achievement I have ever made in my life. I hope it is the start of many new adventures. My training paid off as it was not a hard challenge but one that needed lots of determination. THANK YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh no, I've had my first accident. I had an incident with a lamp post! Long story but I learnt the hard way about how important a helmet is whilst cycling. I've had to replace mine since it was cracked.............. I am very proud of my bruises

In July 2006 I decided to change my life for good, but in a way that was my choice for a change. I have spent almost all of 21 years ;-) feeling self-conscious about my weight and therefore my looks. This has made me feel pretty bad. BUT NO MORE!!!!!!!!! Somehow I found the strength to pluck up the courage and join Slimming World. Through shear perseverance and amazing support from my family, friends and fellow dieters at Lynne's Club in Chandlers Ford, I have to date lost 3st 4lbs. My target being 4st 7lbs by the time I fly to India in December 2007.
Now I feel like a new woman. Someone I have never known and I am looking forward to being this new Pam. More confidence, more self-worth and a fab choice to new clothes.............. Oh boy this is going to cost me!
For some mad reason when I read the advert in a Slimming World magazine for this amazing cycle ride, I felt compelled to rise to the challenge. I truly feel this will change my life for good and allow me personally to gain so much whilst helping others to have better lives too. Already my life has changed through being so much lighter, what will I be like when I am fit with it and succeed in one of the most gruelling yet rewarding experiences of my life?
