Hello . . . This September I am planning to take on the gruelling task of trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro for the charity ChildReach International along with other students from Nottingham University. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world, reaching almost 20,000 feet (6000 metres). Situated in Tanzania, Africa, the trek will take us through tropical rainforests, scrubland and snow, which means it is not only a long walk but that I will have to deal with altitude sickness, freezing temperatures and the sun! After the climb I am also planning on spending some time in the local schools around Tanzania that ChildReach International work with. The task of raising my target of £3000 for ChildReach International seems as high as the mountain itself at the moment! Any donation, no matter how small, will help me on my way and will be accepted with gratitude. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ChildReach International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support!
