My story

Owen Baldry Needs Your Help to Walk.

www.owenswish2walk.co.uk

You can help Owen walk for the very first time unaided by donating.

Owen is 4 years old and has spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. One of the symptoms that affect Owen is that it causes tightness in his legs, so he is unable stand or to walk independently.

National charity, Caudwell Children, is supporting Owen and other children like him by raising money to fund ground breaking treatments and physiotherapy which can help children with Cerebral Palsy walk independently for the first time.

Owen.  He is 4-years-old and has Cerebral Palsy.  His condition makes it impossible for him to run or walk.

Owen recently travelled to America for a procedure called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) to release the stiffness in his legs.

Luckily for Owen the procedure was 100% successful, but that isn’t the end of Owens journey. To enable him to walk unaided he requires up to two years intensive physiotherapy.

To make this little boys dreams come true  and to give him the independence he deserves  we need your help to raise the funds for his physiotherapy and equipment he so desperately needs.

Important note to donors: As long as Owen requires the funds raised to pay for treatment in the United States, post-operative physiotherapy or equipment Caudwell Children will manage payments of funds for the family.  Should there come a time that, for whatever reason, Owen no longer needs the funds raised for treatment then they shall be used to help other sick & disabled children through the charity, Caudwell Children.

My updates 1

Hi We have increased our fundraising total to ensure that we have enough provision in place to fund all of Owens post-operative physiotherapy and give him all the help he needs now he has had SDR.
