We are fund raising for Prostate Cancer  in memory of my husband Brian and for other male members of our families who have been affected by this disease.  We have seen how devastating this illness can be and the trauma it can cause to everyone involved, but we also know that it can be survived with effective treatment.

We also wanted to raise money for Alzheimer's because a member of Gavin's family has been diagnosed with this disease and we have seen how much of an impact it can have on the day to day quality of life of those we love.

We have to have separate fund raising pages for each cause (which we have linked), but anything that we can do to help both charities to research a cure and to support the individuals and families affected by these diseases will be amazing!

26.2 miles is a very long way to run but we are hoping the scenery and thinking of our families will keep us going.....!
