We are the UK’s only charity dedicated to supporting people affected by lymphoma

Story

This year the City of Oxford swimming club (C.O.S.C) is fundraising for two charities through its sponsored swim - Clowns in the Sky and The Lymphoma Association. To enable you to choose which of these charities you'd like to support, there are two Justgiving pages for the swim.  This page is for donations to the Lymphoma Association, but if you'd like to support Clowns in the Sky instead (or as well!) please visit www.justgiving.com/oxswim-clowns

About The Lymphoma Association

The Lymphoma Association is the only specialist UK charity that provides accurate medical information and support to lymphatic cancer patients, their families, friends and carers. When patients learn they have lymphatic cancer, they often know little about it. In these circumstances, it is natural to feel fear or anxiety. However, the Lymphoma Association believes that knowledge conquers fear, so continually works to provide accurate medical information and emotional support to anyone affected by lymphoma.

About Clowns in the Sky

Clowns is a small charity that helps children with brain tumours. It puts smiles on children’s faces during a very tough time – having to cope with chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery. They fund play activity trolleys and entertainers for children’s wards.  These are needed because affected children are often too ill or tired to get to a play room.  We believe – passionately - that they should not miss out on play because of this, and are glad to be supporting this incredibly worthwhile charity.
