Story
Dear All,
Last August my friend Sally and I decided we would like to learn to ride a bicycle. She had been out of the saddle for over 40 years and I had never learnt to ride at all. We had 7.5 hours free tuition with a group called Breeze and since then have had a bike ride every weekend. We started off on canal paths and then ventured onto the road with some trepidation and can now cycle at least 30 miles and even do hand signals! We thought we would set ourselves a challenge and to raise some money in doing so. We've decided to cycle the Hadrians Wall Coast to Coast route in September which is 124 miles over 3 days. Our chosen charities are Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, and St Gemmas and Wheatfields Hospice in Leeds. We've both had close friends and family who have received the best care when they were dying and we feel we would like to give something back. If you can make a donation, however large or small we would be really grateful. Please note that EVERY penny you donate will go to our chosen charities as we are funding the trip ourselves, so dig deep and please donate.....
Thank you for your support
Phil
