Story
We've done it! It was a great trip inspite of the midges, wild camping, inclement weather and "portages" ie hauling the heavily laden boats out of the canals, wheeling them around the locks and launching them again. It's also been great to know that our efforts have successfully raised over £500 for Odyssey. Combined with the nurses from Harrogate the total is currently in the region of £2500....we would love to increase that total....and get it up to £3000. For anyone unfamiliar with Odyssey it is a small charity that helps people with cancer deal with their diagnosis.
