The support I received by PTSD Resolution has been incredible; they matched me with a therapist near me and I had 2 extensions to my sessions. I am still on my recovery journey, but the help and professional counselling I have received, all free of charge, has saved my life. I still suffer with suicidal thoughts often but prior to entering therapy I believed that I was better off dead, now as least I can see a future. I suffer with several medical conditions which affect my day to day life but I want to give back to this absolutely invaluable service that I have benefited from, so here we go... Next year I will cycle across the top of Norway, deep inside the arctic circle, not just to raise money but also to raise awareness of PTSD and the effects it has on the many lives of those who suffer with the condition both directly and indirectly.
